Terms
Last updated October 4, 2026
These terms cover the Turbotex desktop app, web app and related services, provided by Max Zhang. By using Turbotex you agree to them. Turbotex is currently free.
Your work
You own what you write. Turbotex stores and processes your projects only to run the features you use, such as cloud projects, compiling and the review links you create. The privacy page explains where that data goes.
Accounts
Accounts are invite-only. Keep your sign-in to yourself; you are responsible for what happens under your account. Accounts used to break these terms can be suspended or removed.
Acceptable use
Don't use Turbotex to break the law, infringe anyone's rights, spread malware, or overload, probe or work around the limits of its services, including the compile service and review links.
AI
The agent runs on your own ChatGPT account, so OpenAI's terms and limits apply to that use. AI suggestions can be wrong; review its edits before you accept them.
Review links
Anyone with a review link can read the paper and leave feedback. Share links only with people you trust with the paper, and only share work you have the right to share.
Availability
Turbotex is new and changes often. Features may change or be removed, and services may be interrupted. Keep your own copies of your projects.
No warranty
Turbotex is provided as is, without warranties of any kind. As far as the law allows, Max Zhang is not liable for lost data or for indirect or consequential damages, and total liability is limited to what you paid for Turbotex in the previous twelve months.
Changes to these terms
The date at the top shows when these terms last changed. Using Turbotex after a change means you accept the new terms.
